October is our favorite month in the city. We start with the full city celebration and then relax into Autumn before Sinterklaas rolls us into November.

But as autumn always is, we're getting to some endings for the year.

This is our LAST WEEKEND for the Dark History tours🕯️🎃 with tours scheduled for Thursday 29/10, Friday 30/10 and Sunday 1/11.

We've also paused all evening tours (the 19:00 / 7pm) until spring because my dears it's simply too dark to show you the city in all its shimmering beauty.

We'll have new adventures coming in 2027 and all 10am and 1pm tours will continue Tuesday through Sunday for our off season adventurers.

Come walk with us, we love to see you.

Thank you so much for those who've already joined us and everyone who's planning on taking a tour later this month. We have dates each weekend with some limited availability through November 1st. And are so excited to tell you about Leiden's darker corners and histories.

Forever grateful for those who share, review & bring friends along.

🌧️ Autumn is creeping up in The Netherlands! And that means gray skies and many chances for rain. Unless there's a weather warning (think lightning or thunder), we host the tours as planned BUT!! we humbly understand if that's not your idea of a good time, and are happy for you to reschedule your tour for any other night we are hosting.

💙 **Leiden in October, you are showing off.** 🍂✨

Blue skies, golden leaves, sparkling canals, and sunshine dancing off centuries-old Dutch houses. 😍

Usually, October in the Netherlands means a little more rain and a lot more gray. But this year? Leiden seems to have decided to give us a little extra magic. ☀️

The canal-side strolls. The cozy cafés. The bicycles rolling past historic gables. The kind of light that makes you stop mid-walk just to take another photo.

Honestly, there’s something special about Leiden in autumn. And with skies like these, it’s hard to imagine a prettier place to spend a fall day. 🍁💙

So if you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to visit Leiden, consider this is your sign. Come wander with us, discover the hidden stories behind these beautiful streets, and fall a little bit in love with our city.

**The best part? We’re still walking 6 days a week, with 3 tours a day!** 🚶‍♀️✨

We LOVE the off-season tourists. 🥹🍂

The ones who look at a gray Dutch sky and think,
**“Perfect. Let’s explore.”** 🌫️

You’re our kind of people.

Because honestly? Leiden is pretty magical this time of year. Moody skies over the canals, golden leaves, misty mornings, cozy cafés, medieval streets, and *way* fewer crowds.

And we’re still out here telling Leiden’s stories **3 times a day, 6 days a week.** 👣
